Pay: $55,000 - $60,000 / year based on experience;
Clyde's Restaurant Group is seeking a full-time Events Sales Assistant to support our Events Sales Team based in our Georgetown, DC corporate office. This onsite role supports a collaborative team of five Event Sales professionals that will be selling events for all 14 restaurants.
This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong communication, administrative, and guest service skills who is interested in growing a career in events or events sales.

Strong communication, organizational, and guest service skills.

Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, high-pressure environment and able to lead and respond efficiently to unanticipated problems and crises.

Cordial yet aggressive and effective approach to initiating a closing sale.

Conceptual understanding of American foods, regional ingredients and recipes, as well as a practical knowledge of wine selections and styles and standards of service.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Tripleseat, or comparable software.

Serve as the first point of contact for incoming events calls, emails, and voicemails; answer general restaurant and event questions and accurately enter leads into Tripleseat.

Manage daily monitoring of location-specific inboxes and voicemails, entering inquiries into Tripleseat, routing messages to the appropriate Sales Manager, and filtering spam.

Assist guests with dining reservations via OpenTable and coordinate connections with restaurant receptionists or Sales Managers as needed.

Complete the sales process for small group events (under 25 guests) from initial inquiry through definite status, under the direction of Corporate Sales Managers.

Provide administrative and project support to Corporate Sales Managers, including scheduling, follow-up calls, meetings, printing, emails, calendars, and meeting minutes.

Maintain and update all event-related sales materials, menus, wine lists, Tripleseat pick lists, office calendars, TimeTree, and OpenTable event schedules.

Support office and brand operations by ordering supplies, maintaining office organization, coordinating site visits, and assisting with event social media content.
