Lillian Farms is a woman-owned urban farm that specializes in native plants, veggie starters, dried flowers, herbs and much more! We are looking for a plant care and customer service specialist to join us amazing team.
Job description:
- Moving plant material when plant deliveries arrive, organizing plant material for local deliveries, pricing plant material.
- Caring for plant material (pruning, cleaning, watering, fertilizing as needed)
- Loading and unloading plant material for landscape projects
- Helping keep small nursery organized and tidy
- Propogating new plants from seed and plugs
- Help us grow and build nursery space
- Complete sales for customers including ringing up sales and selling plants
- Care and grow new plants for fresh and dried flowers
Required skill set:
- An interest and passion in horticulture, plant care and landscaping
- Background in gardening and horticulture preferred, 1+ years
- Able to work during the week, occasional weekends needed
- Team worker
- Great organization and communication skills
- Able to lift 30-50 lbs
- Able to work in different weather conditions (heat, light rain, cold)
- Must be detailed oriented! Keeping plants alive is an important job.
- Friendly and helpful in selling plants to customers
- Bonus - bring creativity to the position by helping us grow and imagine better ways to organize and use nursery space

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
