- This role is onsite required Sunday and Monday 12:00am to 9:00am.

Overview
This is a unique opportunity for entry-level professionals to gain exposure in both Network Operations and Compliance. The NOC Technician & Compliance Support Specialist will be responsible for monitoring our network, systems, and applications while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. The position will involve both technical troubleshooting and participating in various compliance activities, making it ideal for candidates looking to develop a well-rounded skill set.
Responsibilities
Network Operations Center (NOC) Duties
- Monitor systems, applications, and network-wide performance at a high level to ensure availability and uptime.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and triage production and non-production software, applications, services, and network issues.
- Conduct Incident Management procedures and provide reports, ensuring proper documentation.
- Handle hardware installations and maintenance, including shipment handling (up to 40lbs) and server racking.
- Communicate effectively between Sales, Engineering, NOC, and Compliance teams to resolve issues within defined SLAs.
- Collaborate with NOC management during daily stand-ups to set shift priorities.
Compliance Support Duties
- Administer DataBridge’s electronic Quality Management System, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
- Support compliance activities such as Change Management, Incident Handling, System Qualification/Validation, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Document Control, and User Training.
- Develop test plans and participate in internal and external audits to verify IT controls.
- Assist in reviewing and updating policies and procedures to ensure alignment with DataBridge’s compliance control set.
- Support and participate in compliance initiatives related to HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, NIST 800-53, and other relevant regulations.
Skills - Required:
- GED or Highschool Deploma
- 1+ years of experience in a technical support or network operations role.
- Basic understanding of networking principles and experience troubleshooting network issues.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and experience deploying instances (e.g., VMware vSphere).
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills, with an ability to document and report on incidents and compliance activities.
- Experience with ticketing systems in a multi-team and multi-division environment.
- Ability to work on-site shifts in Silver Spring, MD and cover alternate shifts when necessary.
- Ability to lift and handle hardware (up to 40lbs).
- Ability to pass a standard background investigation.
Skills - Preferred/Optional:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a technology field, business management, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, NIST 800-53).
- Experience working in a validated environment (e.g., health & life sciences, government).
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based and on-premise system administration (Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Virtuozzo).
- Experience with open-source and commercial management tools (e.g., Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Ivanti, Solarwinds).
- Experience with internal and external audits.
- Relevant technical or compliance certifications are a plus.
- Certifications in VMware, Windows Administration, or Linux Administration.
- Knowledge of quality management processes and systems validation.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
