Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Bartender to join our vibrant café team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items. Prior experience in coffee or food service is preferred, along with strong multitasking skills and a passion for hospitality.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, cocktails, and light snacks according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales transactions, and cash handling.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure timely delivery of drinks and food.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment.
- Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Engage with customers to promote sales and enhance their overall experience through excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or Bartender is highly desirable; familiarity with coffee preparation and serving is preferred.
- Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS or GoTab POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $12.77 - $17.00 per hour
