We are seeking motivated moving helpers to assist with residential and commercial relocations across Maryland, DC, and VA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential support during moving projects. Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Help coordinate the packing, wrapping, and securing of items for transport
- Operate moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts when trained and certified
- Load items into box trucks or other commercial vehicles, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety compliance
- Unload items at the destination, carefully placing belongings in designated areas
- Support team members in route driving duties using box trucks or driver vehicles with manual transmission where applicable
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment during all phases of the move
Requirements
- Prior experience in customer service, warehouse work, or moving is preferred but not mandatory—training will be provided!
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Valid driver’s license with driving experience in commercial vehicles such as box trucks or courier vans
- Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and basic vehicle operation including manual transmission
- Knowledge of forklift operation or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, carry, and move items for extended periods
