Job Overview
Corey Sanitation Solutions is looking for a dependable and safety-conscious CDL Driver to join our waste management team on the Maryland Eastern Shore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating sanitation trucks, collecting and transporting waste and recycling, and delivering top-quality service to our customers. This is a local driving position - no overnight travel.
Duties
- Safely operate waste management trucks on assigned routes.
- Collect, load, and transport waste and recyclables.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Report maintenance or safety issues to management.
Requirements
- Valid CDL (Class B or higher preferred)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work early morning shifts and occasional weekends
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Previous waste management or heavy truck experience is a plus
