Title: Sales Associate / Booth Manager
Where: Your primary location would be at Eastern Market (225 7th Street SE, Washington, DC 20003). You would also frequent our storefront in Old Town Alexandria or Arlington, VA to pick up and drop off inventory.
When: The booth will be open from 9:00 am–4:00 pm every Saturday and Sunday (set up begins at 7:45 am and takedown runs until 4:45 pm). This role runs seasonally from March–December.
Compensation:$300 day rate + performance-based bonus(Bonuses are tied to sales performance and overall market success.)

Position Overview
As an Eliana Curated Sales Associate / Booth Manager, you will be an essential part of our pop-up operations. You’ll be responsible for setting up and breaking down the booth, assisting customers, maintaining a beautifully merchandised space, and creating a cheerful, welcoming environment.
You will work closely with the founder and operations team, making this an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment and genuinely loves people.
Training and product education will be provided prior to your first market.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service
- Greet and assist customers with a warm, friendly demeanor
- Provide thoughtful product recommendations and answer questions
- Communicate product details and brand story to customers
- Ensure each guest has a positive, memorable shopping experience
Sales & Transactions
- Accurately handle transactions and process payments
- Promote and upsell products and special offers
- Manage returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
Merchandising & Booth Maintenance
- Set up, maintain, and break down the pop-up booth
- Keep displays visually appealing, stocked, and organized
- Maintain a clean, polished booth throughout the day
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Communicate effectively with leadership and peers
- Participate in daily briefings and share ideas to enhance the customer experience
Product Knowledge
- Develop strong knowledge of all products, pricing, and collections
- Stay informed about promotions, events, and new arrivals
Qualifications
Experience: Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience is preferred but not required.
Transportation: Must have a car capable of transporting materials to and from the market.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and light rain
Availability:
- Must be available most Saturdays and Sundays from March–December
- Hours are approximately 7:45 am–4:45 pm
- Reliability and punctuality are critical, as markets operate on strict schedules
