Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, guiding a culinary experience, creating memorable experiences for our guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar managers to keep up on product knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the food industry.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending within a high volume fast paced establishment, cocktail bar, and/or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and bartending techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with QR point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
- A background in hospitality is beneficial but not mandatory; enthusiasm for the role is essential.
