The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing routine maintenance and repairs of production equipment, facility and building systems, and for monitoring site Building Management System (BMS) and Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) alarms and performance. This role serves as the primary resource for troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing and facility equipment, supporting both emergency repairs and routine preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability.
A successful Maintenance Technician is a trusted partner to Manufacturing and Engineering, working collaboratively to resolve issues in a safe and timely manner. The role includes administering and monitoring contractor-performed scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, maintaining the maintenance shop and spare parts inventory, and communicating spare parts needs to the Maintenance Supervisor. The technician proactively identifies improvement opportunities to enhance equipment performance and site reliability.
The Maintenance Technician is expected to advocate for and adhere to safe work practices at all times, and to execute and document all work in accordance with approved SOPs, work instructions, and cGMP requirements. The role requires flexibility to perform diverse maintenance tasks with strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Education
- High School Diploma / GED Certificate; Required
- HVAC, Electrical, LOTO etc. certification; Preferred
Experience
- 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance Experience; Required
- Knowledge Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and HVAC equipment/systems; Required
- Working safely with power tools and measuring devices; Required
- Read and interpret technical documents, manuals, specifications, and drawings; Required
- Basic computer literacy and technical writing skills; Required
- Forklift and/or Aerial lift experience; Preferred

BENEFITS IN JOINING US

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the local pay range for this position, which is $22.53 to $34.93 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, is $51,500.00 to $79,900.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
Additional Pay Incentives for This Role Include:
- Standard Overtime (Hourly Rate * 1.5)
