Special Education School Aide - Elementary

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required
Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirementsMust be at least 18 years of age
Key Position Details:
- Position: School Aide - Elementary
- Location: Howard County, MD
- Start Date: ASAP - June 2026 (opportunity for extension)
- Duties: Working with Moderate to Severe Special Education Students
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year with Special Education Students
- Interview Process: Screening with Recruiter, Qualified individuals will receive a virtual interview
