Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
BEPC Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer with water treatment experience to support the installation, maintenance, and qualification of water purification systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys field-based work, customer interaction, and technical problem-solving. You will serve as a trusted technical resource for customers while supporting regional service needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, maintain, and qualify water purification systems at customer sites
- Perform preventative maintenance and system validations/qualifications as required
- Complete installations within two weeks of site readiness and perform PMs within scheduled months
- Respond to service requests within required timeframes (24 hours to two weeks, depending on request)
- Accurately complete and close work orders daily, including detailed service documentation
- Provide customers with service reports, meter verification reports, and maintenance documentation
- Maintain an accurate daily schedule and proactively communicate with customers and management
- Manage physical consignment inventory in compliance with SOPs
- Maintain tools and test equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safe operation
- Generate leads for new hardware, consumables, accessories, and service contracts using CRM tools
- Provide backup support to neighboring territories as needed
- Adhere to fleet vehicle policies and safety standards
- Assist with custom engineered system installations with support from leadership teams
- Submit expense reports bi-weekly
- Meet all customer site requirements, including credentialing, background checks, and immunizations
- Maintain professional, timely, and courteous communication with customers and internal teams
Qualifications
Required:
- Associate’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree
OR High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of field service or skilled trade experience
- Water treatment experience (required)
- Minimum 1 year of field service or applicable skilled trade experience
- Strong electronics or mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic IT skills (system interfaces, uploading software, iPad/iPhone use)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs independently and up to 165 lbs with assistance
- Clean driving record
- Willingness to travel overnight (10–60% depending on territory and business needs)
- Valid passport or ability to obtain one
- Flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Contract Details
- Pay Rate: $27.00 – $29.50/hour
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Contract Length: 12 months (with possible extensions)
- Car Allowance: Up to $50/day (maximum $2,000 per month)
- Fuel Reimbursement: Business-related expenses
- Internet Reimbursement: Up to $75/month
