Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Supervise and train team members in food preparation, customer service, and food handling procedures to maintain high standards of quality.
- Oversee inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation.
- Support recruitment efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new staff members.
- Contribute to budgeting, cost control, and overall restaurant management to meet operational goals.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership, training & development initiatives, and performance feedback.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food service management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
- Proven supervisory experience with strong leadership skills in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills for staff training, customer interaction, and team coordination.
- Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis effectively.
