Main Purpose of Job

The Drug Rebate and Lockbox Services Division is responsible for operating the CashDesk system through which all sources of payment for Medical Assistance recipient’s health care are discovered and the monies spent on behalf of the recipients is recovered from sources allowed by Federal and State law.

The primary purpose of this position is to aid and provide support to the operational function for the CashDesk Unit by preparing Adjustment forms for recoveries to be submitted to the Adjustment Unit, mail distribution and ensuring checks received are scanned to the Lockbox Vendor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience: Two years of clerical experience applying policies in a medical care, health insurance or federal or State entitlement program.

Notes:

1. Candidates may substitute additional general clerical experience on a year-for-year basis for the required education.

2. Candidates may substitute thirty credit hours from an accredited college or university for one year of the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should possess the following:

Experience working independently under general supervision.
Experience managing multiple assignments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
