Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate
Sterling, VA
$17-$22 an hour
*$1,200.00 SIGN-ON BONUS*
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? This is a hybrid position.
- Main responsibilities for driver include loading and unloading materials from warehouse to delivery truck to construction site.
- Keep truck safe, clean and organized.
- Ability to lift heavy objects required.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, carry.
- Driver will be responsible for driving in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas ie: Fredericksburg, Alexandria, locations in WV.
- Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, staging orders for delivery.
- Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Assist in keeping warehouse accessible, safe and clean.
- Performing Quality Inspections.
- May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
- Forklift certification is required but will be provided upon hire if not already obtained.
WHAT WE REQUIRE:
This is a hybrid role with a flexible schedule based on daily needs/duties:
- Delivery driving days: 6AM-2:30PM (30min lunch)
- Warehouse days: 7:30AM-4PM (30min lunch)
*You'll have the opportunity to also work in the warehouse during down time on driving days*
- This is a full-time position for someone who is looking to stay with the company long term and grow professionally.
- Will need to submit/maintain a good driving record. Please submit a copy with Resume for priority consideration.
- Must be able to read maps as some of the communities you will be delivering to do not have an address yet, just lot numbers.
- Must be eligible to work in US.
- Willing and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Medical Certificate / DOT Medical Exam is required.
