HBCU News is a culturally driven retail concept focused on education, heritage, and community, offering books, apparel, and merchandise that highlight the legacy and impact of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service aligned with brand values.
Assist with merchandise sales, product knowledge, and promotions.
Maintain store presentation, visual merchandising, and cleanliness.
Support inventory management, restocking, and loss prevention procedures.
Operate POS systems and handle cash accurately.
Support store marketing initiatives, including social media and community engagement events.
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or currently enrolled in college (HBCU students encouraged to apply).
Passion for community, culture, and empowerment initiatives.
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Energetic, reliable, and customer-focused.
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
