Job Description
GravyWork is seeking experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Servers to join the team at a Adult Assisted Living Facility. If you have a positive attitude, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment—we want to hear from you!
As a Restaurant Server, you'll be responsible for providing outstanding service, taking food and drink orders, and ensuring guests enjoy a seamless dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and warmly
- Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders
- Memorize menu items and daily specials
- Communicate guest orders clearly to kitchen and bar staff
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) system and handle payments accurately
- Work closely with bussers, cooks, and fellow staff to ensure smooth service
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of tables and work area
- Perform additional side work and support other areas of the restaurant as needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant
- Able to stay positive and work well under pressure
- Self-motivated and capable of performing duties without constant supervision
- Must be comfortable handling money and using a POS system
- Must have a flexible schedule, including availability for mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to carry multiple plates and stand for extended periods
