Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a flatbed truck with a Moffett mounted to the back of a lorry. Your load will consist of Building Materials on pallets.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Flatbed truck and forklift.
- Perform commercial driving duties including route driving, loading, unloading, and delivering goods.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while transporting freight.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after each trip.
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of the truck.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and follow delivery schedules.
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in operating a forklift and a Flatbed truck.
- Ability to load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of freight transportation procedures.
