Job Summary
We are hiring dependable Drivers to safely and efficiently deliver and pick up commercial laundry linens from client hotels and facilities. This role is responsible for operating company-provided box trucks, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and providing professional service to customers. Drivers play a key role in supporting daily operations by ensuring laundry goods are transported accurately and on schedule.
This position is ideal for candidates with experience driving box trucks or commercial delivery vehicles. A CDL is not required, but prior box truck experience is necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, transport, deliver, and pick up hotel and commercial laundry linens using company vehicles
- Complete deliveries and pickups according to assigned routes and schedules
- Maintain professional and courteous interactions with hotel and client staff
- Push, pull, and maneuver laundry carts and bins to and from delivery locations
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns
- Follow all DOT regulations and company driving and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery, pickup, and inventory documentation
- Communicate route changes, delays, or issues with dispatch and management
- Assist with loading and unloading as needed and collaborate with warehouse staff
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Valid DOT medical card - required
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and DOT regulations
- Ability to navigate city and suburban routes efficiently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic ability to complete delivery logs or use mobile devices for documentation
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused work habits
Preferred Experience
- Experience driving 26-foot box trucks
- Delivery experience in commercial laundry, hospitality, or hotel environments
- Familiarity with scheduled routes and time-sensitive deliveries
- Prior experience interacting with client-facing environments
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and maneuvering wheeled laundry carts
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
- Exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and moderate noise levels
- Ability to move between trucks, loading docks, and client properties throughout shift
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay: $22–$26/hour (based on experience)
