General Manager – The Great Falls Creamery (Full-Time, W-2)
Position Overview:
The Great Falls Creamery is seeking a full-time, hands-on General Manager to lead daily operations of our established, community-loved food and beverage business.
This is a salaried W-2 leadership position with performance-based bonus potential. The role also includes eligibility for a structured long-term incentive plan tied to business performance. No capital investment is required.
We are looking for an experienced food & beverage operator who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is excited to lead a growing local brand.
About The Great Falls Creamery:
The Creamery is an established retail ice cream and beverage shop serving the Great Falls community. We offer ice cream, specialty drinks, retail products, and seasonal promotions. Ownership is actively involved and committed to supporting continued growth, operational excellence, and community engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop team members
- Create a positive, accountable, high-performance culture
- Manage scheduling and labor efficiency
- Lead regular staff meetings
- Report operational performance to ownership
Customer & Community Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Resolve issues professionally and promptly
- Maintain a clean, welcoming environment
- Support local marketing and community events
Operations Management
- Oversee daily store operations
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage vendor relationships and inventory
- Forecast demand and control product waste
- Maintain or obtain ServSafe certification
Financial Performance
- Manage budgets and cost controls
- Use TOAST POS for reporting and menu optimization
- Monitor revenue, labor, and margins
- Drive continuous operational improvement
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of food & beverage management experience (General Manager or similar leadership role preferred)
- Strong operational and financial management skills
- Hands-on leadership style
- Excellent communication and team development ability
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
