Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, emphasizing latte art skills to delight customers
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across the café area, including food preparation and handling
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries professionally
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, balancing registers at shift end using retail math skills
- Assist with food service tasks such as serving baked goods or light snacks, ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
Requirements
- Previous barista experience with a strong preference for latte art skills to enhance beverage presentation
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques in a café or food industry setting
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or retail math is highly desirable
