Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and modifying overhead crane systems.
- Perform documented safety inspections of specific types of equipment in keeping with OSHA guidelines.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment at customer owned facilities such as steel mills, auto manufacturing plants, foundries, large machine builders and steel processing facilities.
- Work independently, or as part of a crew, to diagnose electrical and mechanical problems with equipment in heavy industrial manufacturing facilities.
- Identify needed parts, repair procedures, communicate with the customer, interface with our engineering department, and perform the repair.
- Responsible for documentation of hours, services performed, writing service acknowledgements, and working with computers.
- You will be trained to perform your duties in compliance with NFPA 70E Arc Flash Protection requirements.
- Motor control experience on systems with AC or DC power is necessary.
- You will be trained to perform documented safety inspections of specific types of equipment in keeping with OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED
- At least 3 years in an industrial environment or similar Military Experience.
- Skills and experience in welding, electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Experience as an ironworker, millwright or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Computer literate; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to work at customers facilities including the extreme elements indoor and outdoor.
- Travel Required.
- Eligible to work various shifts.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Work in accordance with OSHA, CMAA, ANSI, ASME, AWS, and other applications.
