Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and best practices.
Skills
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Experience with cash registers and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry.
- Background in nightclub or bar environments is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Familiarity with food service operations to enhance guest experiences.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
