Position Overview
IMPORTANT: This is a skilled Forklift Operator position — not entry-level.
Only candidates with significant experience handling oversized, heavy freight should apply.
We will not train on forklift operation. You must already have strong, hands-on experience and the ability to operate safely and efficiently in high-demand environments.
This role is essential to maintaining the efficiency and safety of our warehouse. The Forklift Operator will manage heavy household-goods freight, prepare equipment for moving crews, and support overall warehouse logistics. This is not a small-parcel warehouse — candidates must be experienced handling large, heavy freight and operating forklifts at significant heights.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to lift, move, and stack large HHG crates weighing 750–1,200 lbs
- Fork and stack freight up to 30 feet high (3-high stacks)
- Assist with loading and unloading moving trucks
- Organize, store, and manage heavy warehouse inventory
- Prepare moving equipment, supplies, and materials for daily dispatch
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs promptly
- Assist drivers and movers with operational tasks
- Follow all company safety rules and OSHA guidelines
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Qualifications
Forklift experience REQUIRED — including heavy freight and high stacking
Experience handling large, non-palletized freight (NOT small packages)
- Ability to safely operate forklifts with loads between 750–1,200 lbs
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain physically active
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Previous moving or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
