Job Summary
Tari Trattoria is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be educated in hospitality or mixology, with a proven background in bartending, a passion for service, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences. Most of our cocktails will be crafted with Don Ciccio & Figli liquors, so knowledge of artisanal spirits and cocktail creativity is highly valued. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a vibrant atmosphere in our establishment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about the menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Adhere to all food handling, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and catering services is an asset.
- Familiarity with cocktail preparation.
- Ability to perform basic retail math for cash handling purposes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local laws.
