Job Title: Order Picker / Warehouse Associate
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 8:00 am start
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Order Pickers to join a high-volume distribution warehouse in Alexandria, VA. This position involves operating a single electric pallet jack and performing manual picking in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Clear communication with supervisors and team members is essential to support safety, training, and daily warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and build customer orders using pick tickets or RF systems
- Safely operate a single electric pallet jack
- Perform manual picking of cases and products
- Build stable pallets and prepare orders for shipment
- Wrap, label, and stage pallets as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures
- Meet established productivity and accuracy goals
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an order picker, order builder, or warehouse associate
- Experience operating a single electric pallet jack (required)
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting and manual picking
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs consistently
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment
- Bilingual
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 8:00 AM until finish (end time varies based on workload)
- Overtime available weekly
