Hardwood Artisans is seeking a passionate furniture sales professional to represent handcrafted solid wood furniture made in Virginia since 1976.
Hardwood Artisans, a locally owned maker of handcrafted solid wood furniture, is seeking a Full-Time Sales Associate for our Shirlington, VA showroom located in the Village at Shirlington, just south of the District of Columbia.
This position offers an opportunity to represent a respected, high-end furniture brand known for its craftsmanship, quality, and customer service. We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping customers find just the right piece for their home, and who takes pride in representing products made with care and integrity.
Position Details:
- Full-time, typically just over 40 hours per week
- The showroom is open 7 days a week; weekend availability is required
- Competitive pay based on experience

What We’re Looking For:
- Prior retail or sales experience (furniture or design experience a plus)
- Professional presence and confidence speaking with customers
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow-up and close deals by converting showroom visitors to customers
- Enthusiasm for high-quality, American-made furniture
- Reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail
