We are seeking a motivated Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the preparation and service of catering orders, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help deliver exceptional food service that delights our customers and upholds our reputation for quality. Duties
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation for catering events
- Support catering setup and breakdown, including arranging tables, linens, and serving stations
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the catering area, including bussing tables and clearing dishes
- Follow food safety protocols during handling, serving, and storage of food items
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients as needed
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing customer inquiries promptly and courteously
- Be able to go out and blitz in the community and surrounding areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper sanitation procedures
- Experience with catering, banquet service, or restaurant operations is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending
- Culinary or food service training is a plus but not required
- A proactive team player with excellent communication skills

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
