Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of trucks, including box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using proper lifting techniques, forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual methods as required
- Drive route-specific delivery schedules efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Assist clients with moving belongings, providing excellent customer service throughout the process
- Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to organize inventory and facilitate loading/unloading procedures
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the truck and work area at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and resolve any issues promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in moving services preferred, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading operations
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is a must.
- Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and customer service standards
- Familiarity with warehouse environments or logistics operations is beneficial
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, work independently, and maintain a positive attitude throughout busy days
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
