Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and timely service
- Oversee food preparation processes, maintaining consistency and presentation standards across all dishes
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize kitchen resources
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and skill development
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold rigorous sanitation standards
- Assist in menu planning and recipe development to keep offerings innovative and aligned with culinary trends
- Coordinate with the catering and banquet teams to execute large-scale events seamlessly
- Monitor shift management, delegate tasks effectively, and handle any operational challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production within a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting, with strong culinary skills
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, demonstrating leadership and team management abilities
- Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, dietary accommodations, and sanitation practices
- Experience with inventory management, cost control, and food handling procedures
- Familiarity with banquet operations, catering services, and large-scale event execution is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in menu planning, shift management, and kitchen workflow
- Background in hospitality or restaurant management preferred; bartending experience is a plus
