Overview
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator, where your skills and work ethic play a key role in keeping our operations safe, efficient, and organized. In this hands-on position, you will operate material-handling equipment, support shipping and receiving activities, and help maintain smooth warehouse workflows. We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused team player with strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and ocean containers using proper lifting techniques and in compliance with OSHA standards
- Support shipping and receiving operations by verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy
- Perform general materials-handling tasks, including pallet stacking, inventory organization, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Update and utilize the warehouse management system for inventory tracking and order processing
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors to improve storage methods, efficiency, and overall workflow
Requirements
- Experience in warehouse distribution, light packing, or similar fast-paced environments
- Proven forklift experience and ability to operate pallet jacks
- Mechanical aptitude or experience operating heavy equipment preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe materials-handling practices
- Experience using scanners and basic computer skills is a must
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus
