Duties
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and recommendations.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or special occasions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Uphold food handling safety standards at all times to ensure guest safety.
Experience
- Previous experience in a server role or similar position is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on sales techniques to enhance guest experiences.
- Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
