Driver and Logistics Associate Education nonprofit Turning the Page (www.turningthepage.org) is seeking a part-time driver and logistics team member for Turning the Page’s bookstores and book sales. Turning the Page raises funds for its program engaging public school parents by collecting thousands of gently used books, CD, and DVD donations, which we sell at book sales throughout the area. The duties of this position are as follows:
- Drive Turning the Page’s 20-foot Isuzu truck (located at our processing center in Landover/Hyattsville, MD) to and from book sales and store sites and to pick up book donations from homes and businesses.
- Participate in the unloading and loading truck of shelves, tables, tents, and boxes of books, and helping to set up book sales and/or stores at sites throughout the DC area.
Job Requirements: Must hold at least a Class B CDL and have a clean driving record. Must be able to lift boxes of books weighing approximately 30 pounds. Being able to work well independently is important. Schedule: Includes Weekends

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
