Job Overview
Pizza Near DMV is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Assistant to support daily food packaging, order preparation, and delivery operations. This role is responsible for packaging pizza orders accurately, organizing delivery items, and helping ensure customers receive fresh and properly prepared orders in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant and delivery environment.
Responsibilities
- Package pizza, food items, and customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare delivery and pickup orders for timely distribution
- Label and organize packaged food items and supplies
- Assist kitchen and front-of-house staff during busy periods
- Maintain clean and organized packaging and preparation areas
- Monitor packaging supplies and notify management when inventory is low
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures
- Support restaurant operations and customer service needs as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous restaurant, food service, or packaging experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting
- Team-oriented mindset and good communication skills
Pay: $21.80 - $22.50 per hour
