We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves collecting blood samples, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining accuracy in specimen handling to support diagnosis and treatment.
Shift- Morning 8 hours shift
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection
- Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Document procedures in EMR systems
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions
- Maintain supplies and ensure proper specimen handling
Qualifications
- Experience in phlebotomy or clinical setting preferred
- Knowledge of venipuncture and specimen handling
- Familiarity with EMR and HIPAA compliance
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
- High school diploma required; certification preferred
