Primary Responsibilities
Assist with the daily operations of multiple LIHTC/HOME affordable housing communities.
Provide exceptional customer service to residents, applicants, vendors, and visitors.
Assist with leasing activities, including responding to inquiries, conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing lease documentation.
Maintain applicant waiting lists and resident files.
Process resident certifications and annual recertifications in accordance with LIHTC and HOME program requirements.
Ensure resident files are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable program regulations.
Assist with rent collections and resident account management.
Support occupancy and resident retention initiatives.
Respond to resident concerns and assist in resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Assist with preparing reports, correspondence, and administrative documentation.
Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure work orders are completed promptly and resident concerns are addressed.
Conduct routine property and unit inspections.
Maintain the overall appearance and curb appeal of assigned communities.
Support resident events and community engagement activities.
Travel between assigned properties as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in property management, leasing, administration, or customer service preferred.
Experience with LIHTC and/or HOME programs is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of affordable housing compliance requirements, certifications, and recertifications preferred.
Experience with RealPage/OneSite property management software is a plus.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities across multiple communities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to travel between assigned properties.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Position: $24.00–$26.00 per hour (approximately $50,000 annually at a full-time schedule), depending on experience.
