Small family owned Italian Restaurant in Sterling, VA is seeking a LEAD COOK/ SOUS CHEF to help run kitchen operations.
The restaurant environment is small and casual, where team members feel like family. We produce high quality Italian food that is unique, locally sourced, with chef driven recipes.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, train, and grow in a unique culinary environment, who potential to grow your career as the company grows.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain food inventories and PAR levels
- Prep for daily consumption of menu items
- Order food and recipe items when necessary
- Train staff on menu items and recipe changes
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and abide by all health and sanitation standards
- Must be able to Pass SERVSAFE Certification
- Must be able to work well with others (we are a small staff)
- Previous experience necessary, but on the job training is also available
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
