Job Description:
As a Door Hardware Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our door hardware is installed accurately and efficiently. This position involves a combination of hands-on installation work and quality control using modern technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-installing door hardware in the warehouse based on the door schedule (50% of the job)
- Repairing doors and other installation work in the field (50% of the job)
- Quickly identifying door handing, top and bottom of doors, etc.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality installations
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
- Following safety protocols and company procedures
Requirements:
- Experience with using power tools
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret door schedules
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in door hardware installation or a related field
- Familiarity with different types of door hardware and installation techniques
Training:
We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and a good attitude. However, basic experience with power tools is required.
