Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
- Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
Requirements
- Previous fine dining experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of upscale restaurant operations.
- Culinary experience is a plus, along with familiarity with food handling and preparation techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Proficient in using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros, as well as OpenTable for reservations management.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations within the restaurant industry.
- Exceptional customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $3.60 - $5.00 per hour
