Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and with enthusiasm
- Showcase your knowledge of the offerings
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Toast, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations to encourage repeat visits
- Handle cash transactions accurately through Toast, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Assist with bussing tables, to ensure seamless service flow
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments
- Familiarity with Toast POS, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service times while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
- Previous experience in serving, host/hostess roles, or food industry positions is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing; open availability for flexible night shifts is a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
