Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food safety, proper food handling, and timely food preparation
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to assist with guest seating and waitlist management
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
- Excellent communication skills combined with basic math skills for accurate check processing and cash handling
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and nights as needed in a lively nightclub or restaurant setting
