Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift or lift truck to move, stack, and retrieve materials
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using a forklift
- Perform order picking and ensure accurate inventory counts
- Move materials within the warehouse or production area as needed
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as required
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a forklift or lift truck is required
- Knowledge of pallet jacks, hi-lo, and other mechanical equipment is preferred
- Ability to read and understand work orders and shipping documents
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order picking
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
- Valid forklift operator certification is a plus
