Position Summary
As a Bartender at Stratford Garden, you bring the energy and expertise that define the guest experience at our bar. You’ll craft outstanding drinks, engage guests with warmth and confidence, and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar. Ideal candidates have a passion for hospitality, strong product knowledge, and the ability to balance creativity with consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, beer, and wine according to recipes and standards
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items to make thoughtful pairing recommendations
- Ensure bar area is clean, stocked, and organized at all times
- Manage tabs, process payments accurately, and reconcile cash/credit transactions
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and ID verification procedures
- Collaborate closely with servers and barbacks to deliver seamless service
- Contribute to a fun, positive, and team-oriented work environment
- Participate in ongoing beverage training and assist with menu development when needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bartending experience in a full-service or upscale casual restaurant REQUIRED
- Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beer, and wine REQUIRED
- Strong communication skills and guest-focused attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays REQUIRED
