Summary/Objective
This position requires basic experience doing setups, repairs and maintenance to Flowmaster inserters, inkjet printers, camera matching systems, tabbers, folders and other manufacturing equipment that are used in a mail shop. As a Level I Technician, this role is executed under close supervision and guidance.
Essential Functions

- Able to interpret and understand work orders.
- Basic setup and size change on Flowmasters (#10 and 6x9).
- Setup computer-based inkjet systems and camera matching systems at a basic level (read and print, mailers cancellation, etc.)
- Able to make basic changes to inkjet templates (move mailer’s cancelation, barcodes).
- Troubleshoot red lights on Flowmasters and get equipment operational again.
- Basic understanding of match-mail and ability follow quality control procedures.
- Able to do basic repairs on the Flowmaster including repairs to pusher section, replace chain, timing of pusher and chain section, and belt replacement on feeders, etc.
- Capable and willing to train Mail Shop Technician Trainees to perform level I tasks.
Non-essential Functions
May be cross trained on other equipment (offset presses, forklifts, building systems, etc.).

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

This position is very active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. The employee may be required to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday,3:00pm to 11:30 pm for the second shift. Occasional Saturdays as business requires.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
