Position Summary:

Guapos Restaurants is looking for a motivated bartender to give customers a great drinking experience.

Our Bartender The bartender is in charge of overseeing the bar while upholding the standards for quality

and service.

Guapos Bartender are expected to make traditional and cutting-edge drinks that go above and beyond the customer’s expectations. Guapos Restaurant is looking for people that can adhere to

Guapos’ professional standards while giving our customers a wonderful dining experience.

Job Type: Full-Time (on-site)

Physical Setting: Restaurant Bar

Schedule: Flexible Schedule (Monday to Friday and Weekends) - (Morning shift/Night shift)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Take accurate food and drink orders from customers in a friendly and timely manner. Make suggestions on food items and drinks based on the customer’s preferences.
Mix, serve and prepare drinks for our guests and servers in a timely manner.
Collect payments from customers for food and drinks served.
Verify each customer's identity and make sure age requirements are met.
Keep the bar area stocked and spotless. Make sure that all surfaces, glasses, and bartender tools are clean.
Maintain bar inventory and supplies.
Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to customers who are intoxicated.
Assist Restaurant staff with other duties as required.

Requirements:

Ability to speak English clearly, advanced English communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.
Ability to learn our Point of Sales System.
Completion of mixology, barkeeping, or other related training required.
At least one year of related experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills while interacting with customers and coworkers.
Ability to follow Guapos guidelines and procedures.
Customer oriented and safety-minded.
Responsible and trustworthy.
Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration and team-player.
Work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
Ability to remain on their feet for long periods of hours.
