We are a busy Penske Truck Rental dealer and Cruise America RV location seeking a reliable Fleet Assistant to support our daily rental operations.
This position plays an important role in ensuring our trucks and RVs are clean, ready for customers, and properly checked in and out through our rental system. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with vehicles while also interacting with customers.
This is a hands-on position that involves both fleet preparation and basic customer service responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare trucks and RVs for customer rentals by cleaning and inspecting vehicles
- Dump RV waste tanks and restock units for the next rental
- Assist with customer check-in and check-out for truck and RV rentals
- Inspect vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and fuel levels
- Fuel vehicles and maintain readiness of the rental fleet
- Move trucks and RVs around the lot as needed
- Transport vehicles to nearby service locations (fuel stations, oil changes, maintenance)
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the rental yard
- Assist with basic computer tasks related to rental check-in and check-out
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving larger vehicles such as trucks or RVs
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Truck rental or RV rental experience (Penske, U-Haul, Cruise America, etc.)
- Automotive, moving, warehouse, or fleet-related work
- Customer service experience

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
