Grease Giant is a DMV-based collection and logistics company. We're building a reliable, service-first operation and looking for an experienced driver to help us run clean, on-time routes.
About the Role:
We're hiring a part-time vac truck driver to service commercial accounts across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. You'll run collection routes, operate the vacuum truck, and keep every stop clean, safe, and professional. Strong performers can grow into more hours as routes expand.
What You'll Do:
- Run scheduled routes across the DMV
- Operate a vacuum (vac) truck
- Connect, prime, and safely operate pumps, hoses, and vacuum systems
- Keep pickup sites clean
- Record volumes collected and confirm stops accurately
- Represent Grease Giant professionally
- Follow all DOT, safety, and handling procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Hands-on experience operating a vac truck - required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable with the physical demands of the job (lifting, hoses, pumping, working outdoors in all weather)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on a route
- Professional, customer-friendly attitude with clients
- Able to keep accurate pickup records
Nice to Have (not required):
- CDL (Class A or B)
- Knowledge of the DMV area and its roads
- DOT medical card / clean MVR
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting on pumps and vacuum equipment
