PCM Services is a leading commercial contractor based in Beltsville, MD, serving the DC/Baltimore metro area. We specialize in providing high-quality construction services to a diverse range of clients. As part of our growth strategy, we are currently seeking a CDL Driver to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and debris to and from job sites. This role requires attention to safety, adherence to traffic laws, and the ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate a dump truck to transport and deliver materials as directed.
- Operate a lowboy truck and trailer to transport heavy equipment, machinery, and oversized loads.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Load and unload materials as needed, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Work closely with dispatchers, job site supervisors, and other team members to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Perform routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure materials are delivered in a timely and safe manner.

Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a dump truck driver or similar role.
- Proven experience as a lowboy truck driver, preferably in construction or heavy equipment transport.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, oversized load permits, and safe transport procedures.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with construction sites and road safety regulations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to work in various weather conditions and assist with securing loads.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
