Salary Range: $12 +tips per hour - $12 +tips per hour
What will I do?
Bring energy and attention to detail to every shift by creating a clean, polished, and guest-ready environment across the restaurant, restrooms, and service areas. Set the tone for smooth operations by fully stocking and organizing the bus stand to ensure seamless transitions between shifts. Deliver prompt, attentive support to guests by assisting with bread-and-water service, clearing and resetting tables, and keeping beverages refreshed in accordance with service standards. Maintain a sharp eye for cleanliness by checking high chairs and booster seats, managing trash removal, and keeping floors spotless throughout the restaurant and bar.
Play an active role in the guest experience by supporting servers with food delivery, plate presentation, and order coordination, while anticipating needs before they arise. Keep operations running efficiently by transporting dishes to the dish area, separating and managing linens, and ensuring all service areas remain organized and functional. Adapt quickly to the restaurant's flow by rearranging tables for special events or large parties and stepping in wherever needed to support the team. Uphold a high standard of cleanliness by vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining all restaurant surfaces and storage areas, while ensuring ice caddies and beverage stations are always stocked and ready. Communicate proactively with leadership and keep supervisors informed of any issues to ensure a smooth, elevated dining experience for every guest.
Additional Responsibilities
- Adhere to all work rules, procedures,s and policies established by the hotel, including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.
- The hotel operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands, and employees may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.
Required Skills & Abilities
This role requires the ability to lift, push, pull, and transport objects weighing up to 30 pounds continuously, as well as frequently bend and stoop throughout the shift. Candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods while maintaining energy and attentiveness, communicate effectively with guests, and meet established standards of professional appearance. A self-starter mindset is essential, with the ability to take initiative and stay proactive in a fast-paced environment.
