We’re looking to hire a Senior Warehouse Manager to join our Washington DC team.
Alongside bike repairs, the Warehouse Mechanic Manager will be responsible for owning entire segments of JOCO’s operations: analyzing and leveraging data to drive operational efficiency; designing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures; managing a team of mechanics, and working closely with the rest of the company to provide best in class experiences for our customers.
What you will do
● Diagnose, fix, and QC eBikes and eQuads.
● Manage a team of mechanics, overseeing scheduling, compliance with SOPs, and providing regular feedback.
● Oversee sourcing, hiring, and training of mechanics.
● Design, implement, and optimize scalable processes to increase the efficiency of mechanics.
● Leverage digital tools and dashboards to accurately track productivity.
● Distribute daily reports to the Business team sharing productivity data, general observations, and feedback.
● Design and introduce processes to ensure inventory quality control.
● Oversee upkeep of our various warehouses.
What you will need
● 3+ years of experience working in an Operations management role, with a track record of driving operational efficiency.
● Excellent communication, leadership, and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team in a warehouse environment.
● Strong problem solving skills, capable of analyzing data to establish and address root causes.
● An exceptional work ethic, willingness to take responsibility, a drive to succeed, and the ability to adapt as the operation scales.
● Experience as a bike mechanic. Familiarity with eBikes is a plus but not essential.
