Overview:
We are looking for a friendly and energetic Barista/Bar Prep to join our team. In this role, you’ll support bar operations by preparing drinks and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee and customer service, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to an outstanding guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all work areas and equipment used in food and beverage preparation.
- Ensure proper and adequate daily setup of the bar by requisitioning, stocking, and preparing all necessary condiments and produce according to established standards.
- Prepare food items to order following established recipes while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Make required drinks during shift as needed.
- Stock shelves, racks, tables, and service stations with necessary supplies for service.
- Support bartenders and service staff to ensure smooth and efficient bar operations.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all bar and storage areas.
- Assist with opening, running, and closing side work duties as assigned.
Experience:
- 1+ years experience in a high volume, upscale restaurant.
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude and a team-oriented approach.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing time effectively during peak hours.
Requirements:
- Stand for long periods of time (duration of your shift)
- Carry/push/pull up to 50lbs
- Ability to kneel, squat, reach, climb a ladder.
